Katie Edge Mellor is a Graphic Designer based in Argyll. Working on projects from many forms of design including branding, print, web, packaging, editorial, info graphics, maps, and exhibitions. With an impressive client list that includes National Trust, Coka Cola, Nintendo, Special Olympics, Co-operative, Manchester Cathedral, Argyll and Bute TSI, Support Dogs and many more. Working with clients large and small from different forms of industries.

Known for her attention to detail, thoughtful and cleaver designs Katie creates to suit each clients needs and understands the importance of answering a brief well.

Katie has followed her interest in design throughout the country and abroad exploring design and the creative industry in various locations including London, Manchester, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Sheffield and the France.

With over 15 years in the design field Katie has a lot of knowledge in design and creating great work to suit her clients needs.

Graduating in 2008 from Cumbria Institute of the arts with a BA in Graphic Design I went on to work for a number of award winning design agencies in Glasgow, Edinburgh and London. In 2017 I started Own Way, now working direct with my clients. Working on creative projects for a range of industries and disciplines.

With over 15 years of experience in design for print, I can help you achieve a cohesive look across all your visual branding materials. All design clients will be offered an extra screen printing service using environmentally friendly inks and organic materials.

The print shop

Katie also mixes her design skills with screen printing. Designing maps, Scottish wildlife, highest mountain and adventure locations in a bold graphic way onto a range of eco friendly contemporary products including patches, prints and homewares. Her products are designed and hand screen printed using organic, sustainable, recycled and plastic free sources. The inks used are eco-friendly and free from any harmful chemicals.
